Job Description
Job Overview
Our client is looking for a Solar Install Manager. Knowledge of the Solar field is a must, with previous experience as an Install Manager or equivalent. We need someone who is willing to work long hours in office and remotely, with the ability to troubleshoot any issue that arises. The ability to manage Field Employees is a must, in addition to knowledge on how to read Electrical Diagrams (CAD's) and understand service work through photos. The Solar Install Manager is responsible for all of the Solar Crews, making sure that they are meeting deadlines, controlling quality, and smoothing out any installation issues.
Duties
* Fill out material orders for each job, checking to make sure we have the correct amount of each part
* Review site surveys and approve adders for each account
* Submit accounts for Design Plans with our Engineering team
* Coordinate with our Customer Service team about scheduling of installs and services
* Approve payment requests from Field Employees for material sourcing
* Inform our Director of Operations and Office Manager about any escalated accounts
* Book lodging for our field technicians when needed
* Portray Leadership skills when dealing with issues by taking charge and dealing with it
* Ability to think outside the box for each new scenario and come up with solutions best suited for the business
* Ability to communicate with Field Employees and customers in a positive and constructive manner
* Review Installation photos and make sure everything is installed to code
* Create customer Apps and troubleshoot Enphase / Solar Edge systems
Experience
* Proven knowledge of a Solar Installation
*Knowledge of Management and a proven track record
* Understanding of Electrical code
* Ability to read an Electrical Diagram (CAD)
* Understanding of parts and what is needed on each job site
* Knowledge of a CRM or equivalent
* High level interpersonal skills and the ability to solve concerns with Field Employees
* Confidence when dealing with problems and the ability to multitask
* A strong background with computers and the ability to use a CRM or equivalent
