Data Analyst

Position Summary: We are seeking a meticulous and proactive Sales Coordinator with a strong background in data entry, Excel, data analytics, CRM management, and exceptional communication skills. This role supports various departments by managing and analyzing data, generating insights, and ensuring accurate information flow. The ideal candidate is organized, detail-oriented, and thrives in a collaborative, cross-functional environment. Experience with QuickBooks and purchasing skills are a plus.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Data Entry & Management
    • Accurately input, verify, and maintain data across systems, ensuring data integrity and confidentiality.
    • Organize and continuously update records within databases and document management systems.
  2. Data Analysis & Reporting
    • Analyze and interpret data to provide insights that support decision-making across departments.
    • Create, update, and maintain Excel spreadsheets to track key metrics, using advanced functions like pivot tables, VLOOKUPs, and conditional formatting.
    • Generate regular and ad hoc reports that reflect data trends, identifying opportunities for improvement and growth.
  3. CRM Data Optimization
    • Manage, segment, and update the customer relationship management (CRM) system to ensure data accuracy and enhance customer engagement.
    • Collaborate with sales and marketing teams to utilize CRM data effectively for targeted outreach and engagement strategies.
    • Monitor CRM data quality and work with relevant teams to implement improvements.
  4. Communication & Cross-Functional Collaboration
    • Act as a liaison between departments to streamline information sharing and enhance data-driven decision-making.
    • Present data insights clearly and concisely to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
    • Support teams by drafting and distributing relevant reports, presentations, and updates on data-driven insights.
  5. General Administrative & Financial Support
    • Provide administrative support including scheduling, meeting coordination, and preparation of data-driven documents.
    • Assist with purchasing activities, including vendor communication, order tracking, and documentation, to ensure smooth and efficient processes.
    • Utilize QuickBooks for tracking expenses, invoicing, and other financial data as needed, contributing to accurate financial record-keeping.
    • Proactively suggest improvements for administrative and data workflows to increase efficiency.

Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelor s degree or equivalent experience in Data Analytics, Business, Information Systems, or related field.
  • Experience: 2+ years of experience in data analysis, data entry, and/or administrative roles.
  • Technical Skills: Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, data visualization), CRM systems, data analysis tools, and familiarity with QuickBooks.
  • Additional Skills: Basic understanding of purchasing processes and vendor relations is preferred.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to convey complex data insights effectively.
  • Analytical & Problem-Solving Skills: Strong analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and develop actionable insights.
  • Attention to Detail: High level of accuracy in data entry and reporting.
  • Team-Oriented: Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively in cross-functional teams and adapt to a fast-paced environment.
