Critical Facilities Engineering Supervisor
Location:100% onsite in Bellevue, WA
Duration: 12+ months
Pay: $45-50 per hour
Schedule: Core Hours M-F, 8-5 (On-call rotation for emergencies). Some night work may be needed
Job Summary:
We are seeking a Critical Facilities Engineering Supervisor to manage operations and construction planning at an enterprise-scale critical facility. The role will involve working in a development lab environment, collaborating with users and vendors to solve facility-related challenges. You will oversee power systems, cooling, fire systems, and building management to ensure continuous availability and safety. This role requires the ability to manage multiple projects while maintaining a strong focus on safety and operational excellence.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct daily site walks and review/QA tickets for maintenance, break/fix, and projects.
- Manage vendors and ensure adherence to safety protocols.
- Lead construction and project meetings, contributing to collaborative solutions.
- Operate facility infrastructure and ensure continuous availability.
- Provide reports as required and maintain budgetary awareness.
- Dedicate 10-20% of time to process improvements.
Required Skills:
- Experience in AC/DC power systems, UPS, generators, rectifiers, and cooling systems.
- Knowledge of building management systems, fire systems (pre-action, gaseous, VESDA), and security systems.
- Strong project management skills with experience in working with vendors, A/E, and contractors.
- 3-7 years in operating, designing, and maintaining large-scale production data centers/critical facilities.
Soft Skills:
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and customer demands.
- Strong problem-solving and collaboration skills in a fast-paced environment.
Technology Requirements:
- Familiarity with building management systems and lab environment operations.
