Our client is a well-established architectural firm looking for a Contract Administrator for a direct hire, long-term project in Austin, Texas lasting approximately 2 years Our clients loyal customer base includes private clients as well as local, state, and federal government entities. As the Contract Administrator for a $250M retail/warehouse/parking garage project in Cedar Park (Austin), TX, you will assist architects in managing the construction administration processes. The project is set to begin on January 1, 2025, and is expected to continue through March 1, 2027. If you need to start sooner, that can be arranged. Your involvement may extend beyond March 2027 to complete punch list items.

Qualifications

10 + years of experienced required

Project dates run from January 1, 2025 to approximately March 1, 2027

Assist Architects in managing construction administration processes

Coordinate with Architectural/Engineering design firms of record

Resolve issues arising on construction site

Review contractor submittals, shop drawings, samples, mock-ups and schedules

Work with Construction management software such as Submittal Exchange, ProCore, etc.

Coordinate and participate in construction meetings with owner and contractor

Make routine construction site in sections to check work in progress

Assess contractor progress claims for payment and issue payment certificates

Prepare punch lists prior to project completion

Assist in assembling close-out paperwork for construction project
