This is a variable hour position.

Position Description:
LCG is seeking a Senior Business Analyst will play a crucial role in supporting the mission of the Client. This role involves documenting ad-hoc special reports, participating in IT support and Engineering, and collaborating with the Infrastructure team. The ideal candidate will have experience as a Product Owner, working closely with users to analyze business processes and identify new business solutions that enhance support for the client s mission.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Document ad-hoc special reports developed to support emergent business requirements.
- Collaborate with users to analyze business processes and identify new solutions that align with the Client s mission.
- Create use cases and results for the Infrastructure team.
- Serve as a liaison between stakeholders and the infrastructure team, ensuring that business needs are clearly communicated and understood.
- Prioritize and manage the product backlog, ensuring that features and improvements align with the overall business strategy.
- Lead product vision and roadmap planning, working with cross-functional teams to deliver solutions that meet user needs and business goals.
- Provide a broad spectrum of documentation, including technical meeting notes, policies, procedures, presentations, reports, user manuals, functional descriptions, and system specifications.
- Assist with Security Assessment and Authorization (SA&A) documentation, as needed.
- Develop outlines and drafts for review by technical specialists and management, ensuring that final documents meet applicable contract requirements and regulations.
- Perform content review for website content.
- Implement, maintain, and update a knowledge management system that includes processes, procedures, best practices, and lessons learned, ensuring accessibility to appropriate personnel.
- Ensure all electronic information technology is accessible to individuals with disabilities, complying with Section 508 standards.
- Demonstrate consideration of Section 508 in all relevant tasks and provide supporting documentation upon request.
- Provide Section 508 remediation services, including creating transcripts of podcasts and videocasts, making documents compliant with Section 508, and testing applications, documents, and web pages for compliance.
- Facilitate productive communications among all parties, including the CIO, COR, CO, customers, contract staff, and other service providers.
- Participate in regularly scheduled project meetings with Client IT staff and provide status updates.
- Ensure all documentation and communications are clear, consistent, and in plain language, with appropriate contact information included for issue reporting or inquiries.
Requirements:
- Bachelor s degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, Computer Science, Computer Applications, or a related field. A Master s degree is preferred.
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in business analysis, with demonstrated expertise in:
- Analyzing business processes and identifying solutions.
- Ensuring Section 508 compliance and providing remediation services.
- Previous experience as a Product Owner, with a strong track record of delivering products that meet business objectives and user needs.
Compensation and Benefits
The projected compensation range for this position is $97,000 to $120,150.00 per year benchmarked in the Washington, D.C. metropolitan area. The target salary for this role is $ 115,500.00. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. Salary at LCG is determined by various factors, including but not limited to role, location, the combination of education/training, knowledge, skills, competencies, certifications, and work experience.
