The Moose’s Tooth, Bear Tooth, and Broken Tooth are looking for an experienced and enthusiastic Merchandise
Coordinator to join our in-house Art Department team. This department executes all of the creative work for our
companies (e.g. marketing, signage, menus, merchandise, websites, photography, etc.)
You will be responsible for overseeing our merchandise program and the day-to-day duties of our company’s
online store. This hands-on, multi-faceted position requires polished skills and experience in
spreadsheets, inventory management, merchandising, market research, trend forecasting, photography, photo
editing, and communication/customer service. Applicants should have a solid understanding of basic business
concepts as they relate to retail. Other skills that will help you stand out from the crowd are experience with Shopify
or other online stores, basic knowledge of InDesign and Illustrator, photography and photo editing experience,
and familiarity with WordPress. You will be expected to spend time on your own at each of our locations in addition
to our office, so reliable transportation is a must. Please do not apply if you’re looking for a fully remote or full-time

This position works with the Marketing & Communications Director, Creative Lead, Art Department staff, vendors,
as well as managers and staff at our restaurants and brewery. Our ideal candidate is a self-starter, well-organized,
a lover of creating and maintaining systems, an excellent communicator with an eye for detail, flexible, playful,
with a particular interest in pizza, beer, and merchandise.

Monday-Friday 40 hours/week, hourly position, DOE. Some schedule flexibility available.

Examples of job duties
- Monitor sales and inventory; replenish each location as needed.
- Organize physical merchandise as needed, maintain cleanliness, and order at locations.
- Order existing merchandise as needed and predict needs/customer demand.
- Monitor shrinkage and profit margin on all merchandise
- Assist with sourcing new products and determining pricing
- Work with suppliers/vendors on product pricing, promotions, special order, and damages
- Design, install, and update/maintain enticing product and promotion displays
- Put together quarterly sales analysis to determine bestsellers and areas of focus
- Research and put together merch proposals based on trends, sales data, and market research
- Photograph and edit pictures of merchandise for online store and marketing use
- Fulfill online store orders, correspond with customers, and work to ensure timely deliveries
- Maintain Shopify online store (pricing, photos, inventory, item descriptions, and shipping costs)
- Make routine website updates (WordPress)
- Assist with events, run errands, proofread/edit copy
- Work with the rest of the team to ensure the timely completion of the department’s projects
- Other duties as assigned
- High school diploma or GED.
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in retail management or similar preferred.
- A minimum of 2 years experience in a similar role or retail environment.
- Proficiency in Excel or equivalent
- Knowledge of retail strategies and consumer behavior
- Experience in keeping stock records and managing merchandise budgets.
- Ability to facilitate merchandise movement, packing, pricing, and replenishment.
- Able to lift and carry 50 lbs; items 50+ lbs must be assisted
- Able to reach, stoop, climb, bend, and crouch
- Self-motivation and the ability to manage time and accomplish tasks with accuracy and efficiency
- Excellent organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills.
- Experience with photography in all lighting conditions and proficient editing workflow
- Must be able to supply camera and other necessary equipment (a Mac desktop is available for use)
- Basic InDesign, Photoshop, and Illustrator knowledge in a Mac environment is a plus. We also use many Google services (Gmail, Drive, Docs, Sheets, etc).
