Actalent is seeking an Industrial Engineer near Chattanooga, TN. This engineer will be responsible for standard work creation, line balancing, change management,
ergonomics, and managing change requests. They will also be responsible for communicating changes of standard work to production and training departments. This role will have two different parts to it: 1) data analytics 2) traditional industrial engineering responsibilities.

Responsibility
- Create standard work procedures and ensure they are implemented effectively.
- Balance production lines to optimize efficiency and reduce bottlenecks.
- Use internal system to verify what tasks need to be followed up on
- Manage change requests and implement change management processes.
- Utilize various technologies to review data analytics
- Perform time studies to identify areas of waste in the manufacturing process
- Ensure ergonomic standards are maintained in the workplace.
- Communicate changes of standard work to production and training departments.
- Conduct process flow analysis and data analysis to identify areas for improvement.
- Utilize Lean Production Systems, Lean 6 Sigma, and Six Sigma methodologies to enhance processes.
- Line Balancing Problem Solving / Analytical skills Communication skills MS PowerPoint/Excel
- Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or equivalent experience
- Experience working in manufacturing environment
- Experience with time studies, line balancing and other industrial engineering skills
- Strong technology knowledge
