- You will serve as the Assistant Chief of Staff, Security and Emergency Services (AC/S SES).
- You will advise in all matters pertaining to regional compliance of Instructions, and Marine Corps Orders that pertain to Security, Emergency Services, Fire, Installation Protection and Mission Assurance.
- You will have delegated command authority to organize, train and equip Marine Corps Base, Camp Pendleton (MCB CamPen) Provost Marshal's Office (PMO), Fire and Emergency Services aboard MCB Camp Pendleton.
- You will serve as the Director for Security and Emergency Services.
- You will organize, train, and equip MCB Camp Pendelton law enforcement, fire protection, emergency medical response, correction services, emergency communications (911) and installation protection capabilities.
- You will plan and set directorate policy and objectives, administers security operations, equipment, activities, programs, establishes timeframes, and deadlines.
- You will develop regional training plans, inspections, and certification for installation protection and assist in regional exercise design.
- You will develop regional installation protection plans, physical security plans, barrier plans, and facilitate security planning.
- You will develop and implement base line training for regional PMO's, Fire and Emergency Services departments.
- You will be responsible for Counter Unmanned Aerial Systems defense plans and planning, sensor, planning, monitoring and detection procurement and employment.
- You will supervise, prioritize, and manage the SES Directorate, its operational and administrative functions, coordinating supervising, and directing the daily activities of the personnel assigned.
- You will review work in progress, completed work, and accomplishments for effectiveness of operations, thoroughness of action, and soundness of project and plans, timeliness, and policy compliance.
- You will provide the full range of supervisory duties and responsibilities.
- You will conduct studies and interpret policy statements, directives, procedures, and individual instructions issued locally or by higher authority that govern or have a bearing on the assigned areas of responsibility.
- You will direct and evaluate overall project management and coordination for the workload of the Directorate.
- You will maintain good public relations with external organizations, including local, city, county, and State law enforcement and fire and emergency management agencies
