Our client, a billion dollar plus organization, is the dominant player in its consumer products industry niche and they are looking for a leader in their Demand Planning/Supply Chain group to drive results in a fast paced and demanding growth environment. This role will be challenged to to improve customer satisfaction, profitability, inventory turns and working capital and to support the buildout of a world class demand planning process.

This role will be challenged to to improve customer satisfaction, profitability, inventory turns and working capital and to support the buildout of a world class demand planning process.
Responsibilities Include
- Lead a team of 5+ Demand Planners and Key Account Sales & Operation Analysts
- Drive Excellence in Customer Experience with Key Account S&OP Analysts through managing inventory, forecasting, and reporting.
- Leverage their ERP to drive the Demand Planning process
- Execute all facets of the S&OP process to maximize customer service levels and working capital to meet strategic objectives.
- Integrate various key indicators/factors to create a demand forecast.
- Collaborate with Commercial, Supply and Operations, and Partners to ensure that the appropriate data is available and accurate to drive performance
- Prepare content and lead the monthly Demand Review, prepare all data and metrics for review to guide final decision making
- Assist in quantifying and defining scope for capacity, resource, logistics, and supply chain planning.
- Maintain forecasts and lead corporate initiatives aimed at improving current business processes.
- Participate in special projects assigned by Manager based on company priorities.
- Facilitate the development of Annual Operating Plan (AOP) for the business.
- BA/BS degree in a business, logistics, technical discipline or equivalent - MBA preferred
- Minimum 6 years of supply chain management experience in manufacturing, consumer products, or related field
- SAP experience (SD/PP/MM)
- 2+ years of experience managing teams
- Strong communication skills and the ability to present to the executive leadership team
- Proven results in building strong customer relationships and delivering customer-centric solutions.
- Background and understanding of supply chain management principles such as (but not limited to) Production Planning, Purchasing, Forecasting, and Logistics
- Strong analytical, organizational, decision making, written and verbal communication and presentation skills to working level as well as executive levels
- Computer skills/ability to work with various software packages. Working knowledge of demand planning tools (e.g., SAP, Oracle, etc.) required, high competency in Excel and PowerPoint.
