Who We Want on Our Team: We are looking for a Recruiter who is passionate about driving our growth by attracting and hiring the right talent. You'll work closely with our leadership to ensure that we have a robust pipeline of candidates, helping us meet the demands of our rapid expansion. You should have a strong understanding of the electrical contracting industry and a keen ability to source and recruit top talent quickly and efficiently. We need someone who can assist in building a team that will propel Chesapeake Electric's continued success.
What You'll Be Doing
Proactively managing the full-cycle recruitment process, from sourcing candidates to onboarding new hires.
Partnering with hiring managers to assess staffing needs and develop recruitment strategies.
Utilizing job boards, social media, networking events, and industry contacts to source and attract qualified candidates.
Conducting interviews, screening candidates, and evaluating cultural and technical fit for open positions.
Providing an exceptional candidate experience from first contact through onboarding.
Collaborating with the HR team to ensure a seamless hiring process, including background checks and offer management.
Ensuring all recruitment activities align with Chesapeake Electric"s values and growth objectives.
What You'll Need To Be Successful Day One

Experience in recruitment, preferably within the electrical contracting or construction industries.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with a focus on relationship-building and collaboration.
A deep understanding of hiring trends and strategies in the trades and skilled labor sectors.
High school diploma or equivalent; further education or certifications in Human Resources is a plus.
Ability to pass a background check and maintain confidentiality.
