Job Description

We are working closely with our Central Ohio client to identify a Power BI Data Analyst. The ideal candidate aligns with the responsibilities and qualifications outlined below.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain business intelligence dashboards and reports using Power BI
  • Work with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, design data models, and develop data visualizations that provide insights into complex data sets
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand their needs and provide data-driven solutions to support decision-making
  • Identify trends, patterns, and opportunities in data, and provide actionable insights to drive business growth and optimize performance
  • Manage data governance and data quality, ensuring data accuracy, completeness, and consistency
  • Communicate data insights and recommendations to management and stakeholders in a clear and concise manner
  • Continuously improve the usability and functionality of the business intelligence platform, and stay up-to-date with Power BI advancements and best practices
  • Provide training and support to end-users, and promote data literacy across the organization

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience in data analysis
  • 2+ years of experience in Power BI development
  • Strong understanding of data modeling and data visualization best practices
  • Proficient in SQL, with experience in data warehousing and ETL processes
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify trends and patterns in data
  • Familiarity with programming languages such as Python or R is a plus
  • Experience in data governance and data quality management
