What You'll Do:

  • AI-Driven Software Development: Build advanced software solutions using AI tools and large language models (LLMs) such as Claude 3.5 Sonnet and OpenAIs APIs, integrated into your daily development workflow.
  • Leverage AI to Boost Efficiency: Continuously seek ways to streamline development and problem-solving using AI-first methodologies, whether through prompt engineering, integrating LLMs, or utilizing tools like Cursor IDE.
  • Adaptable Development: Work across multiple tech stacksour primary stack includes TypeScript, React, and Node.js, with some Python sprinkled in. Youll also need to be flexible enough to quickly pick up new technologies when project requirements demand it.
  • Cutting-Edge Challenges: Tackle unique and experimental AI use cases, often solving problems no one has encountered before.
  • Cloud Infrastructure: Contribute to the design and deployment of applications in an Azure microservices environment.
  • Follow Specifications and Testing: Work closely with a project manager to follow specifications, develop features, and perform extensive testing to ensure quality and functionality.

Who You Are:

  • You are a senior software engineer who's passionate about AI, always learning, and always seeking the most effective ways to use it. You're likely someone who:
  • Exclusively works in Cursor IDE with your own custom .cursorrules files.
  • Scours the latest prompt engineering papers and knows how to build and optimize complex prompts.
  • Has experience building your own RAG pipelines.
  • Understands LLMs inside and out and applies them daily to streamline development processes.
  • Enjoys learning new tech stacks, whether its the latest JavaScript framework or an older tool like Visual Basic for unique project needs.

What Were Looking For:

  • Strong command of TypeScript, React, Node.js, and some Python.

This Role is Not About:


Building or deploying AI models. This is not a machine learning or data science role. Instead, youll be utilizing AI to become a more effective software engineer, solving problems with the latest LLMs and tools.
