JPI is seeking a Management Consultant to act as an Executive Admin for federal government client needs. This is a mid-level position assisting the U.S. Coast Guard with a large-scale agency-wide organizational transformation. The Project Management Consultant / Executive Admin will be a member of a team providing project management and change management support to a federal client and will be responsible for providing direct administrative support for two federal government client leads. The successful candidate will have 3-5 years of experience as a project manager as well as direct experience interacting with high-level federal clients. Thought leadership, critical thinking, clear written and oral communication skills are a must. Must be a self-starter with the ability to work effectively independently and in team settings to include close collaboration with program managers and client personnel.

Responsibilities Include:
- Coordinate calendars and correspondence for two high-level federal client leads.
- Provide input into Project Management-related strategies and action plans for projects of high complexity.
- Provide input into estimated project timeframes and resource constraints.
- Prepare agendas, minutes, and other read-ahead materials.
- Send meeting invites and tracking meeting participant responses.
- Create and distribute ad hoc briefings and reports.
- Act as primary point of contact for distribution of information and coordination.
- Assist in the review and drafting of documents and reports for clients.
- Develop and maintain points of contact lists, organizational charts and email distribution lists.
- Prepare and distribute correspondence.
- Tools used include but are not limited to: MS PowerPoint, MS Excel, and MS Word, MS Teams, MS SharePoint, Jira.
- Develop and maintain project plans, Work Breakdown Structures (WBS), Plan of Actions and Milestones (POAM), and integrated master schedules (IMS).
- Identify strategies for automating and implementing efficient work management processes.
- Create project status briefings and reports.
- Developing project artifacts including charters, agendas, minutes, and correspondence.
- Coordinate all parties to tasks to review work products for completeness, quality, and adherence to customer requirements.
- Schedule, prepare meeting materials, and facilitate interagency meetings and workshop sessions with stakeholders.
- Read and interpret government policy, regulations, and directives and to apply those to required activities.
- Identify risks to project progress and develop risk mitigation strategies.
- Identify issues and develop issues resolution/escalation strategies.
- Participate in program management working sessions and support program managers in executing day-to-day project management activities.
Requirements
- BA/BS with 10+ years of relevant experience
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Ability to obtain a Public Trust Clearance
- Flexibility to pivot and adapt to changes in guidance/direction and ability to navigate through unexpected challenges and deliver solutions
- Must be a self-starter with the ability to work effectively independently and in team settings to include close collaboration with front office staff and executives
- Proven ability to support multiple taskings simultaneously in a deadline-driven process
- Building rapport with colleagues, clients, and stakeholders while developing a reputation as someone who is responsive, trustworthy, and mindful of minute details.
- Experience in building and managing client relationships, including those with Senior Leadership
- Proficiency in the use of desktop computer and use of the entire Microsoft Office365 suite of applications, specifically MS Teams, Excel, and SharePoint
- Must be US Citizen

Expected compensation for this role is between $75,000-115,000, including a generous benefits package with comprehensive healthcare coverage. Please note that final compensation is dependent on a variety of factors and is reviewed regularly for both internal and external equity considerations.
