We are looking for an experienced Windchill PLM Test Lead to oversee and manage the quality assurance and testing processes for our Windchill Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) implementation. This role is crucial in ensuring that our PLM solutions are robust, meet client requirements, and are ready for production. As the Test Lead, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams, including developers, business analysts, and project managers, to define, execute, and validate test plans and cases for a seamless PLM experience.
Key Responsibilities:
Test Planning & Strategy: Develop and implement comprehensive testing strategies and test plans for Windchill PLM applications, ensuring alignment with business requirements.
Test Case Development: Create, review, and manage test cases for functional, integration, regression, and user acceptance testing of Windchill PLM solutions.
Quality Assurance: Lead QA processes and ensure the timely delivery of high-quality testing outputs. Identify and mitigate potential risks throughout the testing lifecycle.
Defect Management: Track, analyze, and prioritize defects. Work closely with developers and functional teams to resolve issues and ensure quality standards.
Collaboration & Stakeholder Management: Work closely with business analysts, developers, and end-users to ensure alignment on testing requirements and expectations.
Continuous Improvement: Drive process improvements by analyzing testing methodologies, enhancing test automation strategies, and leveraging testing tools.
Documentation: Ensure thorough documentation of test plans, test cases, and results. Prepare test summary reports and provide recommendations to stakeholders.
Qualifications:
Experience: 8+ years of experience in PLM systems testing, with at least 3+ years focused on Windchill PLM.
Proficiency in Windchill PLM and related modules (PDMLink, ProjectLink, etc.)
Strong understanding of testing tools and methodologies (e.g., Selenium, JIRA, ALM, etc.)
Experience in test automation frameworks for PLM systems is a plus.
Knowledge of PLM Processes: In-depth understanding of PLM concepts, product data management, configuration management, and change control.
