BUSINESS INTELLIGENCE & STRATEGY ANALYST :

- As our Business Intelligence Analyst, you ll report to the Chief Product Officer and be expected to roll up your sleeves and dig into our raw data to build an infrastructure that business users can understand.
- This role is responsible for creating the logic that combines our raw production data that serves as Walmart's source of truth.
- You will assume full ownership of reporting data, which includes maintenance, training, and education.
- This role is a cross functional role working with Product, Engineering, Member Services, Marketing, and Business Operations.

What youll do:
- Work cross functionally with all levels of the business including marketing, product, engineering, logistics, member services and data science
- Align with leaders across the organization to build and maintain relevant data definitions, KPIs, and dashboards ? Build out internal resources for onboarding, supporting, and training the company on data sets and tools
- Work with large, messy, disparate datasets and conduct aggregated analysis in a meaningful way to drive strategic priorities and codify customer interactions to inform the business on engagement
- Build ad hoc back of the envelope analyses to quickly inform critical cross-functional business decisions
- Select, implement and maintain a BI tool that runs on SQL databases that is to be consumed by all Code Eight employees
- Lead efforts to translate any raw data into SQL databases
- Help teams establish metrics and reporting to optimize internal team workflows
- Provide all required data and insights in preparation for executive and board team communication materials
What you should have:
- At least 2-3 years of total work experience
- BA/BS Degree, preferably in a quantitative discipline
- Expertise in Excel
- Strong SQL proficiency is a must
- Knowing Python or a statistical package, such as R, SPSS or Stata is a plus
- Can transform complex data sets into simple visuals and dashboards for analytical and non-analytical teammates
- The ability to let the numbers define the narrative rather than finding numbers to support a narrative
- Management consulting background is a plus (with project work focused on data analysis)

- Responsible for analyzing complex datasets to optimize marketing strategies and media investments. The role involves leveraging statistical models, machine learning techniques, and advanced data analytics to evaluate the effectiveness of marketing campaigns, measure ROI, and provide actionable insights. Key responsibilities include developing attribution models, running predictive and prescriptive analytics, and conducting A/B testing to enhance media performance. This position requires close collaboration with cross-functional teams to inform campaign planning, optimize audience targeting, and improve overall media efficiency, helping drive data-driven decisions that maximize marketing impact and business growth.

What are the day-to-day responsibilities?
- Campaign Performance Analysis: Analyze marketing and media campaign performance using key metrics such as impressions, clicks, conversions, and ROI to assess effectiveness and areas for improvement.
- Data Collection & Management: Gather, clean, and process large datasets from various marketing platforms (e.g., Google Ads, Facebook, programmatic channels) to ensure accuracy and consistency in analysis.
- Developing Attribution Models: Build and refine multi-touch attribution models to determine the contribution of different media channels and touchpoints to overall conversions and sales.
- Predictive & Prescriptive Analytics: Use statistical and machine learning techniques to forecast future trends, customer behavior, and campaign outcomes, and recommend actionable strategies for optimization.
- Running A/B and Multivariate Testing: Design and execute A/B tests and experiments to assess the impact of different media tactics, creative, and targeting strategies on performance.
- Reporting & Dashboards: Create and maintain automated dashboards and reports that provide stakeholders with real-time insights into campaign performance, media efficiency, and audience engagement.
- Collaborating with Cross-Functional Teams: Work closely with marketing, media, finance, and product teams to translate data insights into actionable strategies and align them with broader business goals.
- Media Mix Modeling (MMM): Assist in the development and interpretation of Media Mix Models to determine the optimal allocation of marketing spend across various channels.
- Advanced Audience Segmentation: Perform deep-dive analysis to identify key audience segments, optimize targeting, and improve media personalization strategies.
- Staying Updated on Industry Trends: Continuously research emerging tools, technologies, and methodologies in analytics, marketing, and media to ensure the use of best practices and innovation in the analytics approach.
