The SaaS Account Executive will be responsible for managing pre-qualified leads, guiding prospects through the sales process, and converting trial users into paying customers. This role involves working closely with the Sales Engineer to facilitate product demonstrations and ensuring that the trial process is smooth for prospects. Candidates with experience in telecommunications networks and engineering are preferred, as this knowledge will help in understanding customer needs and addressing industry-specific challenges.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead Management & Engagement:
Handle and engage with pre-qualified leads, ensuring timely follow-up and moving them through the sales funnel toward deal closure. - Demo Coordination & Guidance:
Partner with the Sales Engineer to coordinate product demonstrations, guiding prospects through these demos to highlight how the SaaS product addresses key challenges, particularly in telecommunications networks and engineering. - Trial Process Management:
Oversee the user trial process, ensuring that prospects have a seamless experience. Provide ongoing communication and support during the trial period, and collaborate with internal teams to resolve any issues that arise. - Sales Process Ownership:
Manage the entire sales cycle for qualified leads, including pricing discussions, contract negotiations, and closing deals. Ensure smooth transitions from the trial phase to paid subscription. - Collaboration:
Collaborate with sales engineering, product, and customer success teams to deliver a cohesive experience from demo through to deal closure, particularly in accounts with telecom network-related needs. - Closing Deals:
Focus on converting trial users into paying customers by negotiating terms, closing deals, and ensuring a positive onboarding experience. - Target Achievement:
Meet or exceed monthly and quarterly sales quotas, focusing on acquiring new customers, particularly in the telecommunications industry. - CRM Management:
Accurately track all sales activities, communications, and deal stages in the CRM to ensure transparency and proper reporting.
Qualifications:
- 3-5 years of experience in sales or customer-facing roles, with experience in telecommunications networks and engineering highly preferred.
- Familiarity with telecommunications network infrastructure, engineering concepts, or related technology is a strong advantage.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple prospects and sales opportunities simultaneously.
- Strong understanding of SaaS products and how they can meet the needs of telecom companies.
- Results-driven, with a proven ability to close deals and achieve sales targets.
- Bachelor s degree in business, marketing, telecommunications, engineering, or related field preferred.
