Oracle EBS Techno-Functional Consultant (HR & Payroll) specializing in HR and Payroll modules, with in-depth knowledge of PL/SQL, Fast Formulas, payroll tables, and experience in data extraction. Familiarity with Data Lake is a plus. The ideal candidate will be responsible for supporting, configuring, and enhancing Oracle EBS HRMS and Payroll solutions, including the development of technical components and data management.
Key Responsibilities
Provide techno-functional support for Oracle E-Business Suite HRMS and Payroll modules.
Analyze and design solutions to enhance Oracle EBS functionality based on business requirements.
Develop and modify PL/SQL code to support business processes and troubleshoot technical issues.
Configure and maintain Oracle EBS HR and Payroll modules, including elements, balances, payroll rules, and payroll tables.
Develop, maintain, and troubleshoot Fast Formulas for payroll calculations, validations, and reporting.
Collaborate with HR and Payroll teams to understand business requirements and provide system solutions.
Perform system testing, including unit testing, integration testing, and user acceptance testing.
Create technical documentation for custom developments and configurations.
Ensure data integrity, perform data extractions from Oracle EBS payroll tables, and migrate data to reporting tools or Data Lakes.
Work with data integration and extraction processes between Oracle EBS and external systems or Data Lakes.
Provide ongoing support for Oracle EBS HR and Payroll modules, troubleshooting issues and providing timely resolution.
Conduct training and knowledge sharing with end-users and team members.
Required Skills and Experience
5+ years of experience, working as an Oracle EBS Techno-Functional Consultant, with a focus on HRMS and Payroll modules.
Proficiency in **PL/SQL** for custom development and troubleshooting.
Extensive experience with Oracle EBS **Fast Formulas**, including developing and maintaining payroll and HR formulas.
Strong understanding and experience with Oracle EBS **Payroll tables**, including data extraction and reporting.
Strong understanding of Oracle EBS HRMS modules, including Core HR, Payroll, Self-Service HR, and Oracle Time and Labor (OTL).
Experience with Oracle EBS payroll processes, including elements, balances, payroll runs, and retro-pay.
Experience in **data extraction** from Oracle EBS and integration with other reporting tools or Data Lakes.
Ability to translate business requirements into technical specifications and configurations.
Familiarity with data migration and integration between Oracle EBS and other systems.
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and interact with business users effectively.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with **Data Lakes** and extracting, transforming, and loading (ETL) data from Oracle EBS into Data Lakes or external reporting systems.
Experience with **Oracle Cloud HCM** or familiarity with migration from Oracle EBS to Cloud.
Knowledge of **BI Publisher**, Oracle Reports, and other reporting tools.
Experience with Oracle Workflow and AME (Approval Management Engine).
Oracle EBS certification in HRMS or Payroll is a plus.
