PM Estimator

ProTech Services Group is searching for Project Manager with Estimator experience in millwright and pipefitting trades. This opportunity is with a very established Memphis-based industrial mechanical contractor. This individual will work Monday through Friday.
Key Responsibilities

• Creating estimates: Prepare cost estimates for materials, labor, and equipment.
• Estimate the time, money, materials, and labor required to complete a project.
• Review blueprints, project plans, and contract documents to understand the project's requirements.
• Work closely with other professionals, such as engineers, architects, and contractors, to ensure accurate project specifications.
• Managing bids: Solicit competitive pricing from suppliers and contractors and manage bids from them.
• Presenting estimates: Present estimates to management and other stakeholders.
• Tracking costs: Compare actual costs to estimates as the project progresses.
• Identifying risks: Recognize potential risks to the project, such as schedule, site, and market conditions.
• Maintaining relationships: Develop and maintain relationships with stakeholders, including suppliers, contractors, and subtrade partners.
• Staying updated: Keep up with industry trends and safety codes.

Qualifications

• Must be able to read drawings, measure up piping assemblies and spool pieces, layout those measurements and fabricate and install those piping assemblies.
• Successful candidates will be able to demonstrate competency in the relevant fields and will provide reputable and verifiable references willing to confirm specific qualifications and experience.
• Documentation, recordkeeping, organization and communication skills are all important qualifications.
• Proficiency with industry-specific computer programs and applications is preferred.
• Exceptional written and oral communication skills to include grammar, spelling, and proofreading.
• Strong interpersonal skills with proven teamwork, participation, and a heart to serve.
• High energy, goal-driven professional with an optimistic demeanor.
• Composed under pressure with a desire to be flexible.
• Critical thinker willing to think outside the box to find solutions.
