Overview

We are seeking a skilled and motivated CNC Swiss Programmer - Manufacturing Engineer to join our dynamic team in Trumbauersville, PA. In this role, you will play a crucial part in optimizing our manufacturing processes, ensuring high-quality production runs, and driving continuous improvement initiatives. Responsibilities
  • Program and set up CNC Swiss lathes and CNC lathes (2-4 axis and 5+ axis) for production runs.
  • Utilize CAD/CAM software such as Solidworks and Mastercam to create and modify programs.
  • Implement Lean Manufacturing principles to enhance efficiency and reduce waste.
  • Conduct thorough troubleshooting of CNC machines and mechanical systems to resolve issues promptly.
  • Perform root cause analysis to identify and address production challenges.
  • Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings to ensure accurate machining.
  • Collaborate with team members to promote a culture of continuous improvement.
  • Maintain and manage CNC tooling and equipment to ensure optimal performance.
  • Communicate effectively with cross-functional teams to support production goals.
  • Provide training and guidance to junior staff on CNC programming and machining techniques.
Qualifications
  • Proven experience as a CNC Swiss Programmer or Manufacturing Engineer in a manufacturing environment.
  • Strong knowledge of GD&T and blueprint reading.
  • Proficiency in G-Code and M-Code programming.
  • Experience with machine brands such as DMG Mori Seiki, Star, Tornos, and Miyano.
  • Familiarity with CAD and CAM software, including Solidworks and Mastercam.
  • Excellent troubleshooting skills, particularly in mechanical systems.
  • Strong manual machining skills and understanding of CNC tooling.
  • Basic computer skills and ability to work with various software applications.
  • Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Commitment to safety and quality in all aspects of manufacturing.
