ABOUT THE POSITION
The Project Manager of Business Excellence is responsible for the following enterprise-wide functions:
  • Project Management of Business Excellence activities
  • Creation and management of team and strategic schedule
  • Coordination with site GMs and Astec VPs in development of all Business Excellence functions
  • Change Management associated with business model, process, and enhancement changes
  • Identify essential business reports needed to support strategic business model
  • Manage creation and prioritization of essential business reports needed to support strategic business model


DELIVERABLES & RESPONSIBILITIES

Project Management:
  • Define team strategy of completing projects and lead project planning sessions
  • Coordinate staff and internal resources
  • Manage project progress and adapt work as required
  • Determine required deadlines and drive completion of tasks associated with these deadlines
  • Oversee all incoming and outgoing team documentation
  • Design risk mitigation plan
  • Conduct project review and create detailed reports for executive staff
  • Optimize and improve processes and the overall approach where necessary

Business Reporting:
  • Identify and define key business metrics and reporting requirements.
  • Manage development and maintenance of comprehensive business reports that provide actionable insights to stakeholders.
  • Utilize data analytics to support strategic decision-making and performance monitoring.
  • Filter new report requirements and use the same reports across Astec.

To be successful in this role, your experience and competencies are:
  • Bachelor s degree in business, management, or related field preferred with Oracle implementation experience.
  • Minimum of 10 years experience in project management.
  • Solid organizational skills, including multitasking and time-management.
  • Proactive Problem Solver who demonstrates a proactive approach by effectively understanding various scenarios, asking insightful questions, and developing appropriate resolutions.
  • Strong experience in cross-functional collaboration and teamwork activities.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with cross-functional
    teams and senior leadership.
