Job Description

We are seeking a Sales and Assembly Technician to join our team, combining hands-on assembly work with customer-focused sales. The ideal candidate will assist with pump assembly, repair tasks, and work directly with customers to troubleshoot issues, make product recommendations, and close sales. No experience? No problem we ll provide full training for the right candidate! Excellent pay and benefits included.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform pump assembly and repairs
  • Provide outstanding customer service by addressing customer concerns and troubleshooting issues
  • Recommend pumps based on flow rate calculations and application needs
  • Read and interpret blueprints to determine the correct assembly and specifications
  • Utilize schematics and technical manuals for problem diagnosis
  • Maintain accurate records of repairs, maintenance, and customer interactions
  • Order parts and manage inventory for repairs and assembly
  • Occasionally travel to customer sites within Wisconsin (no out-of-state or overnight travel)

Sales Responsibilities:

  • Engage with customers to identify their needs and recommend appropriate pump solutions
  • Assist customers with product selection and ensure they receive the best possible solution for their application
  • Follow up with potential customers to close sales and secure repeat business
  • Maintain customer relationships to ensure satisfaction and long-term partnerships

Qualifications:

  • Strong mechanical skills with experience in high-level mechanical assembly and repair
  • Ability to read blueprints and calculate flow rates
  • Customer service and sales-oriented, with a strong commitment to solving customer problems
  • Steady work history with good principles and a desire for long-term growth (10+ years)
