  6. Make sure Off is chosen in the pop-up menu next to the website.
  7. On the left, click Pop-up Windows.
  8. Make sure Allow is chosen in the pop-up menu next to the website.

Job Requirements:

We are looking for a Production Support Engineer to join our team. This role requires a proactive individual with a strong problem-solving mindset and an eye for detail to support our production environment and ensure optimal application performance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Monitor and manage the health and stability of production applications.
  • Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve issues in real-time to minimize downtime and improve performance.
  • Look into production support tickets and take appropriate actions as per given guidelines.
  • Perform root cause analysis and provide solutions to recurring issues.
  • Collaborate with development and infrastructure teams for escalated issues and enhancement requests.
  • Document and track all incidents and resolutions in a clear, detailed manner.

Required Skills:

  • Good SQL Knowledge: Proficiency in running SQL queries for data analysis and troubleshooting, with hands-on experience using SQL in a production environment.
  • Java Code Debugging: Basic understanding of Java to identify and fix minor issues in the code.
  • Application Performance Tuning: Knowledge of identifying and addressing performance-related issues.
  • Analytical and Problem-Solving Skills: Proactive approach to identify root causes and suggest potential solutions.
  • Communication: Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and communicate technical issues effectively.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of hands-on experience in working with Java applications.
  • Previous experience in a production support role is a plus.
  • Exposure to incident management tools, and ITSM (IT Service Management) platforms is beneficial.
