About the Role:

We are seeking a skilled Senior Project Manager to lead a multi-year global project focused on migrating a corporate voice system to a cloud-based Microsoft Teams solution. The project includes managing user enablement, physical phone deployment, and the full decommissioning of legacy systems. This role requires strong project management skills, exceptional organizational abilities, and experience in large-scale IT infrastructure migration.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and deliver a large-scale, multi-year migration of corporate voice systems to Microsoft Teams for approximately 10,000 users across global supply chain and data center locations.
  • Collaborate closely with a 3rd party implementation vendor to define, execute, and oversee the project plan, ensuring milestones and timelines are met.
  • Hold the 3rd party vendor accountable for deliverables, quality standards, and adherence to the critical path.
  • Partner with stakeholders, dependent teams, and executive sponsors to maintain alignment, influence outcomes, and report on progress.
  • Direct project activities, overseeing the project lifecycle to ensure completion within budget, timeline, and business expectations.
  • Define and implement project quality standards, success criteria, and risk mitigation strategies.
  • Manage stakeholder communications, project change control processes, and escalations, while presenting clear, concise project updates and decision points.
  • Coordinate project financials, track expenditures, and forecast deployment activity costs monthly.
  • Prepare and present materials for weekly leadership and steering committee meetings.
  • Evaluate and make recommendations on project schedules, resource allocation, budgets, and escalation management.

Key Skills and Qualifications:

  • Project Management Experience: 8+ years as a Project Manager, with demonstrated ability to lead large, complex projects involving multiple stakeholders and budgets.
  • Collaborative Leadership: Proven ability to work effectively with global teams and manage 3rd party vendors, applying critical thinking and problem-solving skills to overcome project challenges.
  • Communication and Organizational Skills: Strong organizational abilities and an exceptional aptitude for summarizing complex project information for executive-level reporting.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Skilled in negotiation and relationship-building with both internal and external stakeholders.
  • Adaptability: Flexibility to shift direction quickly as priorities change, with experience guiding teams through ambiguity.
  • Technical Knowledge: Advanced understanding of IT infrastructure components, including network, application hosting, end-user services, and application management.
  • Project Methodology Expertise: Familiarity with Agile, Waterfall, and hybrid project management methodologies, along with SDLC.
  • Tool Proficiency: Experienced in MS Office, MS Visio, MS Project, and MS Teams.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Industry Experience: Background in retail or supply chain projects, particularly in implementing Microsoft Teams-based voice solutions.
  • Certifications: PMP or PRINCE2 certification preferred.
  • Education: Bachelor s degree preferred.
