We are seeking an experienced IAM Focused Cloud Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing, and managing identity and access management policies in our cloud environment.

The role of IT Cloud Security Director III involves a variety of skills and responsibilities, including:

  • Identity and Access Management (IAM): Designing, implementing, and managing IAM policies in cloud environments, with a focus on security and compliance.

  • Cloud Platforms: Experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) and Amazon Web Services (AWS) is essential. The role also involves integrating IAM solutions into CI/CD pipelines and collaborating with DevOps teams.

  • Security and Compliance: Ensuring compliance with regulatory standards such as HIPAA and PCI-DSS, and managing security incidents related to IAM.

  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in scripting languages like Python and PowerShell, as well as experience with containerization technologies like Docker and Kubernetes.

  • Certifications: Relevant certifications such as AWS Certified Security and Certified Identity and Access Manager are preferred.

  • Additional Skills: Knowledge of SSO, multi-factor authentication, Okta, InfoSec, and cloud security practices.


The position is a high-visibility role within CNA Organization, responsible for advising leadership on IAM strategies and developing core partnerships across the organization

ADDITIONAL: INFORMATION:

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement IAM solutions for cloud-based services in GCP and AWS.

  • Manage user identities, roles, and permissions to ensure secure access to cloud resources.

  • Develop and enforce IAM policies and best practices to maintain compliance with regulatory standards.

  • Collaborate with DevOps teams to integrate IAM solutions into CI/CD pipelines.

  • Monitor and respond to security incidents related to identity and access management.

  • Conduct regular audits and assessments of IAM systems and processes.

  • Provide training and support to staff on IAM best practices and tools.

  • Stay up-to-date with emerging trends and technologies in IAM and cloud security.


Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of experience in IAM, cloud engineering, or a related role.

  • Strong understanding of IAM concepts, tools, and frameworks (e.g., SSO, MFA, RBAC).

  • Experience with GCP is a must.

  • Experience with GCP cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.

  • Proficiency in scripting languages (e.g., Python, PowerShell) for automation.

  • Familiarity with compliance frameworks (e.g., GDPR, HIPAA, PCI-DSS).

  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

  • Strong communication and collaboration skills.


Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

  • Relevant certifications (e.g., GCP or AWS Certified Security, Certified Identity and Access Manager).

  • Experience with IAM tools such as Okta, Azure AD, or GCP & AWS IAM.

  • Knowledge of containerization and orchestration technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).



Pay Details: $60.00 to $80.00 per hour
