Sollis Health is seeking an experienced and highly motivated Real Estate Development Manager to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be involved in all aspects of real estate development, from leasing to project coordination, entitlement processes, and lease administration. This role requires a collaborative, detail-oriented professional who can manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously, ensuring seamless execution of real estate initiatives.
Remote position with travel. Can be located in the following states only Alabama, California, Colorado, Florida, Illinois, Louisiana, Maryland, Nevada, New Jersey, New York, Pennsylvania, Texas, Virginia and Wisconsin.
Responsibilities:
Range: $100,000-$125,000 per year
This is the anticipated rate/range Sollis Health reasonably expects to pay candidates for this position nationally. Sollis Health is a multi-state employer and this rate/range may not reflect the pay for positions that are performed solely in localities outside of this location. Actual pay is dependent on several factors that may include but are not limited to years of experience within the job, years of experience within the required industry, location, education, etc.

Responsibilities:
- Assist in all phases of real estate leasing, including sourcing, due diligence, and negotiation.
- Assist in managing and reviewing commercial lease agreements, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and consistency with organizational policies and legal requirements.
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to help secure favorable lease terms.
- Assist with entitlement processes, working with local government and regulatory bodies to understand and secure necessary approvals.
- Facilitate internal and external meetings related to ongoing development projects.
- Ensure smooth communication between project teams, consultants, architects, contractors, and stakeholders.
- Monitor and track project timelines, ensuring tasks are completed according to deadlines and project milestones are achieved.
- Collaborate with architects, contractors, and consultants to assist with meeting design specifications, timelines, and quality standards.
- Data entry and validation of new lease information into the lease administration database
- Abstract leases to capture tenant-specific terms, clauses, and options, ensuring proper documentation and easy access to critical lease information.
- Continuously track and report critical lease dates, including renewals, expirations, and other key milestones to ensure timely actions are taken.
- May include occasional national travel as required (up to 10%)
- Performs related duties as requested
- Bachelor's degree in Real Estate, Business Administration, Construction Management, Urban Planning, or related field (Master's degree or relevant certifications a plus).
- Minimum 5 years of experience in real estate development, leasing, property management, or related field.
- Prior experience managing entitlement processes or coordinating multi-disciplinary project teams is preferred.
- Strong understanding of real estate leasing, entitlement processes, and commercial lease agreements.
- Proficiency in lease administration databases and software, with the ability to perform data entry and validation accurately.
- Excellent project management skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills to effectively interact with internal teams, external consultants, government agencies, and vendors.
- Detail-oriented, organized, and able to handle confidential information.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong negotiation skills and ability to work with various stakeholders in the real estate industry.
- A proactive and solution-oriented mindset to address challenges that may arise during project development and lease negotiations.
- Ability to interpret and manage legal documents, including lease agreements and government regulations.
