Total Plastic Solutions is hiring a Maintenance Technician to join our team! We are a customer-centric company seeking a Maintenance Technician who is just as passionate as we are. Total Plastic Solutions is a plastic manufacturer that utilizes injection and blow molding with 25 years of experience in the industry.

Job description

A Maintenance Technician is responsible for keeping a facility operating and repairing any problems when they are discovered before they have a chance to worsen. Maintenance Technicians oversee the general upkeep of the building and its infrastructure. Their role is to maintain building operations and ensure that the facilities are safe and functional at all times. Maintenance Technicians can manage technical repairs like inspecting and fixing systems alongside aesthetic maintenance on facility grounds. They manage routine maintenance and emergency repairs to prevent and resolve safety or comfort issues. Maintenance technicians install new equipment and oversee building upgrades according to owner requests and to preserve the facility.

Duties:

1. Machine installation with the knowledge of electrical, plumbing requirements and rigging knowledge.

2. Provide electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and mechanical troubleshooting and repairs on all production and facility equipment.

3. Performing routine maintenance around the building

4. Have a good overall knowledge of process controls for production machinery and facility equipment.

5. Applying preventative measures to the building to reduce the risk of future problems

6. Demonstrate competency of applicable requirements from applicable ISO standards (ISO 9001, AS9100, ISO 13485 and ISO 14001).

Requirements

  • Ability to work with minimal supervision
  • Strong desire to learn & advance in maintenance career
  • Mechanical background required
  • Electrical experience preferred
  • Must have high school diploma or GED
  • Must have 3 years Maintenance Experience.
