Job Description: Overview:

Solution Architect/Business Analyst needed to augment Northern Trust Workday HRIS Team. Previous Workday implementation or support required. The contractor should possess strong knowledge of Workday, with experience configuring and supporting US Payroll and one or more of the additional functional areas core HCM, Core Compensation, Advanced Comp, Benefits, Time, Absence, and Global Payroll.

Contractor's Role:

Will serve in an HR technology role to support the US Payroll team, and year-end processes and drive design of process improvements for US Payroll enhancements and defects. Will be responsible for functional and technical guidance and consulting throughout the lifecycle of each initiative, including design, security, testing, and implementation. Will research and evaluate options, recommend alternative solutions, and impacts, and prioritize deliverables. Will work with HR business SMEs to translate complex global business requirements into system solutions and configuration, as well as system developers on integration and other technical design considerations.

Experience Level: 3

Qualifications (must haves):

Workday HCM solution architect with previous experience implementing or supporting US Payroll Adept at testing and troubleshooting integration issues Experience creating and loading EIBs Strong solution consulting and communication skills Project management, strong analytical skills and attention to detail Ability to work well with business subject matter experts and technical resources to deliver work on time according to project schedule.

Knowledge of system capabilities, usually acquired through formal training or experience, is required to assess automation and configuration possibilities Organizational skills are required to develop and monitor project plans as well as organize time/juggle competing priorities effectively Ability to work under tight deadlines, handling multiple assignments simultaneously is essential

Nice to Have:

  • Additional experience supporting another functional area, including core HCM, Benefits, Compensation, Advanced Comp, Time, Absence, and Global Payroll nice to have.
  • Previous PeopleSoft experience extremely beneficial, preferably V9.2
