Job Description:

We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Research Assistant to join our dynamic team at CAES. This is a unique opportunity to be part of a world-renowned research center and contribute to groundbreaking solutions in the field of energy.

Key responsibilities:

- Conduct research and literature reviews related to energy technologies, policies, and practices

- Assist in designing and conducting experiments and simulations

- Analyze and interpret data using statistical methods and software

- Contribute to the development of research proposals and reports

- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure timely completion of research projects

- Communicate research findings through reports, presentations, and publications

- Stay updated on current advancements and trends in the energy field

- Perform other duties as assigned by the Research Manager

Qualifications:

- Bachelor's or Master's degree in a relevant field (e.g. Engineering, Physics, Environmental Science)

- Strong research background with experience in data analysis and interpretation

- Excellent critical thinking and problem-solving skills

- Proficiency in statistical software (e.g. R, SPSS) and research tools (e.g. databases, search engines)

- High level of organization and attention to detail

- Effective communication and collaboration skills

- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks efficiently

- Passion for sustainable energy and the drive to make a positive impact in the field

- Previous experience in a research setting is an asset

Salary: $26,000 to $40,500 yearly
