Senior Software Engineer (C++/QT)

Our client is a global leader in security inspection solutions, providing innovative technologies to ensure safety and security across various industries. Their products, including cutting-edge X-ray imaging and cargo inspection systems, help detect threats and safeguard critical infrastructure. They're seeking a Senior software engineer to join their team.

This individual will join the team developing high-performance security applications. In this role, you will work on advanced software solutions for X-ray imaging systems that scan baggage and cargo for potential threats. You will help develop software that verifies scan data in the cloud, working on complex, safety-critical systems that are essential for public security all in C++/QT. The ideal candidate has great communication skills, and is a self starter!

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• Strong proficiency in C++ and QT for developing high-performance applications.
• Experience with multithreading, hardware-software integration, and GUI development.
• A background in developing or working with safety-critical systems is a plus.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work in a collaborative, hands-on environment.
• Familiarity with security inspection or X-ray imaging systems is desirable but not required.
