Piper Companies is seeking a Network Engineer III to join an established Electronics Manufacturing company. This is a hybrid position and would require you to be onsite 3 days a week in Atlanta, GA . The Network Engineer III will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining secure, scalable, and high-performance network solutions that align with business needs while ensuring optimal performance and reliability.

- Design and implement high-performance, secure, and scalable network solutions to meet business objectives.
- Plan and execute network upgrades, expansions, and optimizations to support growth and technological advancements.
- Monitor, manage, and maintain network infrastructure to ensure minimal downtime and optimal performance.
- Implement and maintain robust network security measures, including firewalls, VPNs, and intrusion prevention systems.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and deploy solutions supporting new applications and technologies.
Qualifications for the Network Engineer III:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field; advanced certifications such as CCNP or CCIE are highly desirable.
- 5+ years of experience in network engineering, with a focus on complex enterprise environments.
- Expertise in networking protocols (e.g., BGP, OSPF, MPLS, TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP) and network hardware from vendors like Cisco and Juniper.
- Strong understanding of network security principles and tools (e.g., firewalls, VPNs, IDS/IPS).
- Proficiency with network monitoring tools (e.g., SolarWinds, Wireshark, Nagios) and cloud networking (e.g., AWS, Azure).
- Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex issues.
- Strong communication skills for technical and non-technical audiences.
- Certifications such as CCNP, CCIE, or equivalent are preferred.
Compensation for the Network Engineer III:
- Salary: $120,000-$150,000 ***depending on experience***
