Data Scientist

Key Responsibilities:

• Data Analysis: Conduct exploratory data analysis (EDA) to identify patterns, trends, and anomalies within complex datasets.
• Model Development: Design, develop, and deploy predictive models and machine learning algorithms to address business challenges and opportunities.
• Data Visualization: Create and maintain interactive dashboards and visualizations to communicate findings and insights effectively to stakeholders.
• Collaboration: Work with business stakeholders, data engineers, and other teams to understand data requirements, deliver actionable insights, and support decision-making processes.
• Reporting: Prepare detailed reports and presentations that summarize analytical findings and provide recommendations for business strategy.
• Continuous Improvement: Stay up-to-date with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in data science. Continuously seek to improve models, methodologies, and processes.
• Data Management: Ensure data quality, integrity, and consistency. Develop and implement data validation and cleaning processes.
• Technical Skills:
  • Proficiency in programming languages such as Python or R.
  • Experience with machine learning libraries and frameworks such as Scikit-Learn, TensorFlow, or PyTorch.
  • Strong knowledge of statistical analysis and modeling techniques.
  • Proficiency in SQL for data querying and manipulation.
  • Experience with data visualization tools like Tableau, Power BI, or D3.js.
  • Familiarity with big data technologies such as Hadoop, Spark, or similar is a plus.
• Soft Skills:
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex data insights to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and manage multiple projects effectively.
  • Attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality results.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
• Knowledge of natural language processing (NLP) or deep learning techniques.
• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
