What You'll Do

We're looking for a Sr. Risk Management Specialist to join our Enterprise Risk Management team. In this role, you'll serve as subject matter risk assessment partner to risk teams, business, and functional stakeholders to review and assess specific risk concerns and recommend appropriate risk solutions!
  • Manage risk assessment program, processes, functions, and procedures. Positively influence the strategic advancement and value of the risk assessment program. Collaborate with team members to execute a continuous improvement approach, recommend and implement changes to the risk program.
  • Perform risk assessments through consult, challenge, and analysis to identify risks, document controls, and determine the level of risk exposure necessary for the business to make informed risk decisions and drive appropriate actions. Identify risk trends and insights from applicable sources that inform risk assessment needs. Complete requested and required business risk and control assessments in alignment with program standards.
  • Partner with key business and risk collaborators to communicate risk trends and insights in an effective manner. Lead risk presentations and education sessions to stakeholders. Appropriately challenge business process design and controls as applicable.

Who You Are

  • Bachelor degree or equivalent education and experience.
  • 8+ years risk management experience (includes legal, compliance, audit or direct oversight of a business process with accountability for compliance or risk management).
  • Consulting and influencing skills.
  • Critical thinking and assessment skills.
  • Analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively and collaborate with key stakeholders.
  • Ability to adapt to changing business priorities and effective time management skills.
  • Knowledge of internal business operations and/or corporate functions preferred.

Salary Range Information

Salary ranges below reflect targeted base salaries. Non-sales positions have the opportunity to participate in a bonus program. Sales positions are eligible for sales incentives, and in some instances a bonus plan, whereby total compensation may far exceed base salary depending on individual performance. Actual compensation for all roles will be based upon geographic location, work experience, education, licensure requirements and/or skill level and will be finalized at the time of offer.
Salary Range (Non-Exempt expressed as hourly; Exempt expressed as yearly)

$95200 - $182400 / year
Time Off Program

Flexible Time Off (FTO) is provided to salaried (exempt) employees and provides the opportunity to take time away from the office with pay for vacation, personal or short-term illness. Employees don't accrue a bank of time off under FTO and there is no set number of days provided.

Work Environments

This role offers in-office, hybrid (blending at least three office days in a typical workweek), and remote work arrangements (only if residing more than 30 miles from Des Moines, IA, or Charlotte, NC). You'll work with your leader to figure out which option may align best based on several factors.
