Job Summary:

One of our main clients is seeking an innovative and experienced Chief Technology Officer (CTO) to drive the technology vision and strategy of a leading company in the healthcare and senior living sectors. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in AI, large language models (LLMs), and signal processing, with a proven track record in leading technology initiatives and teams. This role requires both strategic leadership and hands-on expertise to develop cutting-edge solutions that meet the highest standards of quality and performance.

This role is based in Sunnyvale, CA, or Los Angeles, CA, and requires on-site presence at one of these two locations.

Requirements

Chief Technology Officer, Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement the technology vision and strategy in alignment with the company s goals and objectives.
  • Lead, mentor, and inspire a team of engineers, fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, and excellence.
  • Oversee the end-to-end development of our technology solutions, ensuring they meet the highest standards of quality, performance, and security.
  • Utilize your expertise in AI, LLMs, and signal processing to drive the development of intelligent, data-driven solutions that enhance our service offerings.
  • Leverage your healthcare background to ensure our technology solutions are compliant with industry standards and regulations, and effectively address the unique needs of the healthcare sector.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams, including product management, operations, and business development, to align technology initiatives with business objectives.
  • Stay abreast of emerging technologies and industry trends, and identify opportunities to incorporate innovative solutions that enhance our competitive edge.
  • Manage the technology budget, allocate resources effectively, and ensure projects are delivered on time and within scope.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Proven experience as a CTO or in a similar leadership role within a technology-driven company.
  • Direct healthcare experience in building software/AI applications.
  • Experience within senior living/home care (RPM/CCM/CTM) market segments.
  • Voice engagement care plan delivery experience.
  • Strong background in AI, large language models (LLMs), and signal processing.
  • Experience in the healthcare industry, with a deep understanding of healthcare technologies and regulations.
  • Demonstrated success in leading and scaling engineering teams.
  • Excellent strategic thinking, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse stakeholders.
  • Bachelor s or Master s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field; advanced degree preferred.
