The Role:

Looking for an eCommerce Manager to oversee and manage the company’s website by developing and implementing strategies to increase online sales, optimizing the user experience and managing e-commerce platform and technology.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement e-commerce strategies aimed at amplifying website traffic, improving user experience, and achieving heightened conversion rates and revenue objectives.
  • Operational Oversight: Direct day-to-day activities on the Shopify platform, encompassing tasks such as product uploads, content generation, order processing, customer service, and issue resolution. Optimize user experience for greater intuitiveness and engagement.
  • Analytics and Reporting: Scrutinize web analytics, assess website and campaign performance, and provide data-driven recommendations for enhancements.
  • Collaborative Marketing Initiatives: Foster close collaboration with marketing teams to craft promotions, devise SEO strategies, orchestrate email campaigns, and create social media content. Spearhead e-commerce development projects and engage with external resources and vendors.
  • Product Catalog Management: Administer and maintain the product catalog, ensuring accuracy and timeliness of product information.
  • Coordination in Fulfillment and Logistics: Collaborate with fulfillment and logistics teams to guarantee the punctual delivery of orders.
  • Holistic Website Management: Work in conjunction with web developers to sustain a functional and efficient website that aligns seamlessly with our branding.
  • Industry Insight: Stay abreast of emerging e-commerce trends and best practices, with a specific focus on those pertinent to the Shopify platform.
  • Data entry/upkeep for shopify (tagging products, adding to collections, tagging photos for SEO updating metafields)
  • Update initial and final costs in Shopify
  • Update Best Sellers page on the website at a regular cadence
  • Attend weekly meeting with warehouse + web dev agency
  • Work closely with Merchandising and Marketing teams to ensure catalog accuracy and completeness
  • Produce sales / return reports to Chief Operating Officer
  • Main point of contact for all Shopify issues

Skills & Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • 5-7 years of e-commerce experience with a focus on fashion brands.
  • Fluent or expert in Shopify Plusand proficient in web analytics tools like Google Analytics, along with a robust understanding of SEO and digital marketing strategies
  • Demonstrated success in implementing tactics that drive growth on e-commerce platforms.
  • Strong execution skills with a comfort level in entrepreneurial settings
  • Strategic thinker capable of building comprehensive strategies aligning with the company vision, while also being hands-on in execution.
  • Experience in executing e-commerce strategies for digital sales and conversions on both website and external platforms, including daily performance optimization, goal achievement, and enhancing user experience.
  • Highly analytical and data-driven, with the ability to extract insights, iterate, and adapt strategies to optimize growth.
  • Curiosity and critical thinking with a knack for exploring new ideas and approaches within existing and new channels.
  • Strong collaboration skills and experience working cross-functionally, including managing external agencies.
  • In-depth knowledge of e-commerce Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and metrics.
  • Proven ability to organize and present e-commerce data effectively for decision-making
  • Experience with content management and site merchandising
  • Knowledge of customer service principles and practices
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel
  • Knowledge in coding languages, GTM and other web analytics tools a plus.21

Salary Range: $95,000-$115,000 (based on skills & qualifications)
