Role Overview

We seek an experienced Cultural Programming & Partnership Manager to help shape and implement our cultural strategy and engage our network through impactful events that create moments in time.

Responsibilities

  • Event Planning & Production: Lead the ideation, planning, and execution of cultural and networking events at the Jayaram NYC & Miami Studios, including artist talks, exhibition openings, high-profile client meetings, and community and industry gatherings.
  • Partnership Development: Identify and cultivate relationships with corporates and potential partners across the culture, art, tech, and fashion sectors. Leverage these partnerships to enhance Jayaram’s brand and community engagement.
  • Community Engagement: Build and maintain a network of brands, artists, creators, designers, and cultural influencers to create meaningful programming that resonates with our clients and the broader creative & innovation community.
  • Brand Representation: Serve as an ambassador for Jayaram at industry events, representing the firm with professionalism and enthusiasm, as well as act as concierge at events hosted in one of our studios.
  • Strategy & Execution: Develop and implement a strategic plan for cultural programming that aligns with Jayaram’s brand and business goals. Ensure all events and partnerships are executed within budget and deliver maximum impact.
  • Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with all teams to ensure that all events and partnerships align with the firm’s broader strategic goals.

Qualifications

  • Experience: Minimum of 4+ years of experience in cultural programming, event planning, immersive marketing or partnership management, preferably within the art, fashion, or culture sectors with proven success navigating creative and corporate worlds.
  • Network: Community-minded person required; existing connections within the art, culture, tech or fashion industry is a significant plus.
  • Skills: Strong project management, organizational, and communication skills. Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and work effectively under pressure.
  • Motivation: An entrepreneurial spirit, owner’s mindset, positive attitude, and respectful interactions. Action-driven, proactive and a genuine desire to learn new skills and stay on top of trends.
  • Creativity & Attention to detail: A keen eye for detail and a passion for creating unique and impactful experiences with precision execution.
  • Team Player: Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and manage relationships with a variety of stakeholders.
  • Flexibility: Willingness to work outside of standard business hours as needed to ensure the success of events.
