As a Senior Recruiter you create value and make a direct, immediate, impact on Truist delivering on that Purpose. This person will be responsible for identifying, attracting, and recruiting high-caliber talent for various roles within the Truist Wholesale line of business. This person will join a team of Wholesale Talent Acquisition professionals who have a deep understanding of Wholesale Banking, including Commercial Banking, Corporate & Investment Banking, Wealth Management, Commercial Real Estate, Wholesale Credit, and Payments/Treasury Solutions. This role acts as a talent advisor on the industry, including its unique talent needs, trends, and competitive landscape.

Essential Duties And Responsibilities

  • Primary focus on mid-level and senior level professional hiring or roles that are more complex in nature. Provide advisory, consultative and strategic recruiting services, including market research, competitive intelligence, proactive sourcing and pipelining, candidate assessment, business leader and hiring manager advice and candidate development.
  • Ability to foster strong business relationships with senior managers and candidates is paramount; as such, a consultative, strategic mindset is required.
  • Independently manage the search and selection process for a wide range of roles within the Wholesale Banking business.
  • Manage the full lifecycle of talent acquisition processes to include networking, pipelining, talent identification and development, offer creation and delivery and manager partnership. Support the Truist diversity initiatives by developing and executing on recruiting strategies and leveraging internal and external networks, professional organizations, available tools or resources, and market demographics to identify and pipeline a broad range of diverse external talent.
  • Provide a best-in-class candidate and stakeholder experience through the interviewing and hiring process. This includes proactive communication to our selected candidates to ensure the candidate onboarding process is built on care and clarity.
  • Independently manages the search and selection process for a wide range of roles which could include professional, technical, early career and other niche skill positions.
  • Full usage and management of candidate and applicant workflow through the two ATS platforms (Workday & Phenom) by assessing candidate's qualifications and tracking activity appropriately to maintain compliance.


Qualifications

Required Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 5 plus years of professional level recruiting experience, including but not limited to; developing and executing candidate sourcing strategies, cold calling, candidate assessment through phone screens/interviews, management of the end-to-end recruiting process, etc. or equivalent years of business experience.
  • Ability to influence with strong credibility, presence, and the strategic ability to guide and consult managers and/ or senior managers to make sound hiring decisions.
  • Possesses the skill and business acumen to have conversations related to talent with all levels in the organization.
  • Must have an ability and desire to stay abreast of sourcing strategies, trends and market conditions in the local and broader marketplace.
  • Must have the ability to work independently and be organized, action oriented and self-driven.
  • Experience providing fact-based assessments of talent to provide clear recommendations to managers involving acquiring new talent.
  • Must be a collaborative team player and have the ability to be flexible and adaptable to rapidly changing environment.
  • Mentors recruiters and other members of the team in order to ensure the sharing of best practices.



Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent education, related training or relevant practical work experience.
  • Extensive experience with passive candidate sourcing in Financial Services, preferably revenue generating businesses.
  • Proven experience in being a talent advisor, consultant, and solution-driven expert in talent acquisition
  • Demonstrated business acumen with an understanding of an organization's overall strategies, how the business operates and what drives success in the business. A growth mindset built on continuous learning and improvement.
  • Ability to persuade and influence business leaders and exhibit the confidence to make solid recommendations on strategies and hiring recommendations.
  • Demonstrated experience in recommending, negotiating, and closing complex compensation packages.
