About The Position

The Consumer Affairs Coordinator is responsible for ensuring the provision of advocacy services to consumers residing in the PRTF, serving as a community liaison for the PRTF, and performing administrative advocacy responsibilities for the facility.

The CAC provides consumers ongoing support and expertise through comprehensive assessment, planning, implementation and overall evaluation of individual treatment needs. The CAC is accountable for the admission, treatment coordination and discharge planning of assigned consumers.

Requirements

  • Masters Degree in a human services field and 2 years post graduate work experience in the area of child mental health.

OR

  • Bachelors Degree in a human services field and 3 years post graduate work experience with child mental health.

OR

  • RN with two years of full-time, post licensure accumulated MH/DD/SA experience with population served
