- Salary: $75K to $100K
Based in Minneapolis, we are an accounting firm focused primarily on serving small businesses, S-Corps, and more! We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Bookkeeper to join our finance team. The ideal candidate will manage day-to-day financial transactions, ensure accurate record-keeping, and support our overall financial health by providing timely reports and analysis.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain accurate financial records and ledgers.
- Perform bank reconciliations and ensure all transactions are accurate.
- Assist with month-end close processes.
- Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable.
- Prepare financial statements and reports.
- Conduct cash flow analysis and forecasting.
- Utilize pivot tables and VLOOKUPs for data analysis and reporting.
- 3+ years of experience as a Bookkeeper or in a similar role
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and practices
- Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel
- Experience with bank reconciliation and month-end closing
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Attention to detail and high level of accuracy
- Excellent organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks
- Tax experience is nice to have
