We are seeking an innovative and visionary Creative Director of Packaging to lead our packaging design team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing compelling packaging solutions that align with our brand identity while driving sales and enhancing consumer engagement.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the packaging design process from concept to execution, ensuring alignment with brand standards.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including marketing, product development, and sales to create packaging that resonates with consumers.
- Oversee the development of packaging materials, ensuring they are cost-effective and sustainable.
- Supervise and mentor the packaging design team, fostering a culture of creativity and professional growth.
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring deadlines and budgets are met.
- Stay updated on packaging trends and consumer behavior to inform design strategies.
- Develop and maintain relationships with external vendors and partners for sourcing and production needs.
- Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Packaging Design, or a related field.
- 7+ years of professional experience in packaging design and art direction, preferably in consumer products or consumer electronics.
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, including InDesign, Photoshop, and Illustrator.
- Strong understanding of print production, typography, color, and die lines.
- Experience in brand management and consumer behavior analysis.
- Demonstrated ability to manage budgets and timelines effectively.
- A robust portfolio showcasing innovative packaging designs and logo design work.
- Excellent time management and organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
- Strong collaboration and communication skills, with experience in partnership development.
