  1. Make sure the webpage is open.
  2. In the Safari app on your Mac, choose Safari > Preferences, then click Security.
  3. Make sure the Enable JavaScript checkbox is selected.
  4. Click Websites.
  5. On the left, click Content Blockers.
  6. Make sure Off is chosen in the pop-up menu next to the website.
  7. On the left, click Pop-up Windows.
  8. Make sure Allow is chosen in the pop-up menu next to the website.

Assistant Controller - Audit & Public Accounting Specialist

About Us:

Residential Services Private Equity is reshaping the industry through strategic acquisitions and innovation. We are seeking a skilled Assistant Controller with strong technical accounting expertise to join our team. You will play a critical role in our growth by managing month-end close processes, ensuring GAAP compliance, and delivering accurate financial reports.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage monthly, quarterly, and annual financial close processes.
  • Oversee general ledger integrity, develop workpapers, and account reconciliations.
  • Provide technical accounting guidance on complex issues like revenue recognition and consolidations.
  • Support annual audits, preparing financial schedules, and coordinating with external auditors.
  • Ensure internal controls are effective and the company is audit-ready.

Requirements:

  • 2-4 years in public accounting with audit experience.
  • 5+ years of progressive experience in financial reporting and technical accounting.
  • Expertise in GAAP
  • Experience in high-growth or M&A-driven companies.
  • Master’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred
  • CPA designation preferred
