This position is responsible for providing leadership to the DC team, managing all areas of the operation including freight, shipping, receiving, replenishment, pick and pack, repack and inventory, claims and returns and personnel in collaboration with Human Resources. The goal is to meet the demands of a consolidated distribution center in an increasingly competitive and rapidly changing marketplace. This role monitors daily work flow, anticipates work volume and plans and distributes work accordingly.

The Distribution Center Manager leads the DC operations to standards of performance set by the Executive Leadership Team (ELT).

Requirements

  • 3+ years manager and/or supervision experience within a DC environment
  • Excellent interpersonal communication skills and emotional intelligence
  • Excellent analytical skills
  • Ability to perform multiple tasks and a variety of duties
  • 3+ years experience with a full scale WMS system – NetSuite preferred
  • Microsoft Office literacy
  • Proven ability to communicate cross functionally to promote collaboration
  • Proven ability to analyze data, set metrics and meet performance requirements

Preferred Knowledge, Skills And Abilities

  • Six Sigma and/or Lean Certification(s)
  • 2+ years NetSuite WMS experience
  • College degree in logistics or similar field
