My client is a top notch General Construction firm that is actively seeking a Project Coordnator
Responsibilities:
Assist Project Manager in the bidding process, including preparing and distributing invitations to bid, managing document distribution and communication with subcontractors, collecting and organizing proposals.
Prepare and distribute all necessary documentation for job start, including project directories, subcontracts, change orders, and purchase orders.
Manage subcontractor submittals, ensuring timely collection and processing.
Process RFIs (Requests for Information) and maintain the RFI log for timely processing.
Distribute plans and updates to subcontractors throughout the course of construction.
Set up and maintain project files.
Oversee project closeout process, including gathering closeout documentation, collecting permits and permit drawings, assembling turnover packages, and submitting them for client approval.
Maintain client, vendor, and subcontractor contacts.
Professionally answer telephone calls, screen and direct them accurately.
Assist in ordering, stocking, and organizing supplies as needed.
Provide project coordination coverage for the team when necessary.
