Function: Performs independently on routine industrial maintenance and repair tasks on infrastructure, equipment, systems, and shelters. Performs and oversees maintenance and repair involving minor plumbing issues, minor electrical, and air conditioning and heating system issues. Fixes or replaces faulty switches, and outlets, inspects and diagnoses problems to determine proper resolution. Finished work is spot checked for quality by senior maintenance technicians. Oversees work of and trains junior level technicians.
Education: High School diploma or equivalent GED
Experience: A minimum of 4 years of work experience performing the stated function.
Specialized Experience and Skills: Working knowledge and experience with commercial and residential electrical wiring and distribution. Working knowledge of heating, ventilation, and air-condition (HVAC) systems. Working knowledge and experience performing general carpentry and using carpentry hand tools.
