Logistics Manager/Dispatch

We are offering a contract to permanent employment opportunity for a Logistics Manager/Dispatch situated in Cleveland, Ohio. As part of our team, you will be managing drivers who are independent contractors, scheduling their routes, and ensuring the smooth running of logistics operations. This role is based on-site and requires a strong understanding of the industry.
Responsibilities: Manage and schedule independent contractor drivers, ensuring efficient route mapping. Supervise and monitor customer accounts, taking appropriate action when necessary. Process and maintain customer credit applications and records with high accuracy. Communicate effectively with drivers, providing coaching and troubleshooting support when required. Utilize various software including Microsoft Office, Excel, and Maptitude to facilitate operations. Manage logistics operations, ensuring seamless delivery and transportation processes. Handle and resolve customer inquiries promptly, maintaining high levels of customer service. Collaborate with other team members, contributing to team growth and changes. Leverage skills in Business systems, Cargowise, CRM, ERP - Enterprise Resource Planning, ERP Solutions, About Time, and Billing Functions to optimize job performance. Maintain a strong understanding of the industry, staying updated with current trends and developments. Proficiency in Business systems and ERP - Enterprise Resource Planning
Experience with Cargowise and other ERP Solutions
Familiarity with CRM platforms
Knowledge of 'About Time' software
Understanding of Billing Functions
Excellent Communication skills
Strong Customer Service abilities
Expertise in dealing with Customs procedures
Ability to multitask and manage multiple logistics operations
Leadership skills to manage dispatch teams effectively.
