The Role:
As the Chief of Staff to the CEO, you will play a pivotal role in driving the execution of the CEO's top-priority initiatives. You’ll manage high-level projects from inception to completion, working closely with the CEO to ensure strategic goals are met, deadlines are maintained, and all stakeholders are aligned. In this role, you will partner with the Senior Leadership Team to optimize communication, streamline operations, and support CEO-specific project management.
Key Responsibilities:
Strategic Projects and Initiatives:
Trusted Advisor: Handle sensitive and confidential information with the highest degree of discretion. Act as a thought partner to the CEO and leadership team, providing candid feedback. Proactively identify potential risks or opportunities and provide strategic recommendations on key decisions and initiatives.
Lead Strategic Initiatives: Oversee and manage all CEO-directed initiatives, ensuring alignment with the company’s strategic goals. You will monitor milestones, manage timelines, and keep the CEO informed of progress, coordinating cross-functional teams to deliver results.
Drive Cross-Functional Priorities: Collaborate with the senior leadership team to support the CEO’s growth and expansion strategies. Manage Objectives and Key Results (OKRs), Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), and respond to emerging challenges and opportunities. Guide cross-functional teams, ensuring timely and efficient completion of high-priority projects aligned with strategic goals.
Facilitation and Organization:
Executive Support to the CEO: Serve as the CEO’s primary point of contact. Maximize the CEO’s efficiency by managing workflows, preparing for critical meetings, tracking action items, and advancing the CEO's most essential initiatives.
Complex Calendar & Communication Management: Administer the CEO's calendar, emails, and meeting preparation. Manage priorities and ensure the timely execution of critical initiatives.
Maintain consistency in messaging across all internal and external communications.
Plan & Execute Leadership Engagements: Organize and manage leadership meetings, quarterly business reviews, board preparations, and significant corporate events.
Qualifications & Skills:
- 5+ years of experience supporting senior executives in a chief of staff or similar role.Experience in a high-growth or start-up environment is preferred.
- 5+ years of experience in project management, management consulting, corporate strategy, or a similar role, with a proven track record of managing high-impact projects.
- Data-driven with strong analytical skills, capable of synthesizing complex data into actionable recommendations.
- Exceptional organizational and time-management skills, capable of handling multiple high-priority projects simultaneously.
- High emotional intelligence with strong leadership, interpersonal, and collaboration skills, especially when working with executive leaders and cross-functional teams.
- Strategic thinker, comfortable navigating fast-paced environments and anticipating challenges.
- Proven ability to manage sensitive information with discretion and excellence.
- Bachelor’s degree in business, economics, communications, marketing, or a related field is strongly preferred.
