General Position Description

In this role, you will help drive the Arva Intelligence's brand's growth and success through thoughtful marketing strategies that resonate with our target audience in the sustainable agriculture industry. You will create engaging content, manage innovative campaigns, conduct research and analyze marketing performance to optimize efforts. Your ability to think creatively, collaborate effectively, and deliver results will be essential in this exciting, fast-paced role. As a Marketing and Communication Specialist, you will develop and launch effective marketing campaigns across various digital, social media and traditional marketing channels. In addition, you will support driving brand awareness, generating leads and increasing customer engagement. Your responsibilities will encompass market research, content creation, campaign analysis and collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure successful marketing initiatives.

Primary Job Responsibilities

  • Content Creation: Develop high-quality content, including blog posts, articles, social media posts, and press releases, to promote our products or services.
  • Social Media Management: Manage social media channels, engaging audiences and building a strong community.
  • Video Production: Draft stories, set up scripts and support production.
  • Email Marketing: Create and monitor email campaigns to nurture leads and drive sales.
  • Public Relations: Assist with public relations activities such as media outreach and inquiries.
  • Marketing Research: Conduct market research to identify trends and opportunities.
  • Event Coordination and Promotion: Assist with planning and executing events, including production, set-up and swag support, for conferences, trade shows, etc.
  • Lead Generations + Sales Support: Create sales collateral materials, such as brochures, presentations, and product sheets.
  • Analytics: Track and analyze website and marketing campaign performance.
  • Administrative Tasks: Assist with various administrative tasks related to marketing and communications.

Key Competencies / Requirements

  • MUST HAVE strong understanding of agriculture, regenerative agriculture, sustainability, environmental services and/or climate.
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications (or a related field) or similar work experience.
  • Strong writing and communication skills.
  • Proficiency in tradition, digital marketing and social media platforms.
  • Basic knowledge of graphic design and content management systems.
  • Background/previous work experience in agriculture or sustainability.
