At Dynamism.io, we are thrilled to partner with a YC-backed voice AI startup to help them find a Chief of Staff. This strategic role is ideal for professionals with a background in consulting or operations within high-growth tech environments who are passionate about driving cross-functional collaboration and scalability. As a key member of the leadership team, the Chief of Staff will play a crucial role in shaping the startup’s strategic direction and operational efficiency as they build out their real-time voice AI infrastructure.

Role Overview

As Chief of Staff, you will work closely with the CEO and leadership team to drive strategic initiatives and facilitate cross-functional collaboration. This role requires a high level of strategic thinking and adaptability, ideal for candidates with experience in consulting (preferably at an MBB firm—McKinsey, Bain, or BCG) or within fast-scaling tech startups. You will be instrumental in shaping the company's future, ensuring operational alignment and supporting data-driven decision-making.

Key Responsibilities

  • Strategic Planning & Execution: Partner with the CEO to define and execute the strategic roadmap, aligning cross-functional teams on company-wide objectives.
  • Project Leadership: Own and manage complex, cross-functional initiatives to support scalability, infrastructure resilience, and overall organizational efficiency.
  • Operational Efficiency: Develop and implement processes for streamlined communication, efficient project management, and accountability across departments.
  • Executive Decision Support: Conduct in-depth research and analysis to inform high-impact executive decisions, focusing on areas such as infrastructure scaling and real-time system demands.
  • Cross-functional Coordination: Foster collaboration and alignment between engineering, product, and operational teams, ensuring clarity on key projects and milestones.
  • Board & Investor Relations: Prepare materials for board meetings and investor updates, emphasizing progress, strategy, and the company's mission.

Core Requirements

  • Experience: 5+ years in a high-impact, strategic role, ideally within MBB consulting or a high-growth tech startup environment.
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree required; MBA or advanced degree preferred.
  • Skills:
  • Expertise in project management and complex data analysis.
  • Exceptional communication skills with the ability to effectively represent the company's mission to various stakeholders.
  • Proficiency with project management tools (e.g., Asana, Tableau) and experience managing high-stakes projects.
  • Strong problem-solving mindset and ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Consulting Background: Previous experience at McKinsey, Bain, or BCG, with a focus on large-scale, strategic initiatives.
  • Startup Experience: Experience in early-stage or high-growth tech companies, especially in roles involving infrastructure, cloud platforms, or distributed systems.
