POSITION OVERVIEW :
Experienced SAP Data Migration Program Manager to lead and oversee data migration efforts as part of a large project involving multiple sites transitioning to SAP. Deep understanding of SAP systems, strong project management skills, and a proven track record in large data migration projects is necessary.
Key Responsibilities
Project Leadership: Work with multiple data leads to oversee the end-to-end data migration process, ensuring alignment with project timelines, budgets, and objectives. Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including IT, business, and external partners, to define data migration requirements and strategies.
Data Assessment: Conduct data quality assessments, mapping, and cleansing to ensure accurate and reliable data transfer to the SAP system.
Migration Strategy: Develop and implement a comprehensive data migration strategy, including data extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL) processes.
Testing and Validation: Manage testing phases to validate data integrity post-migration, coordinating user acceptance testing (UAT) and resolving any issues.
Documentation: Ensure thorough documentation of data migration processes, including mapping documents, procedures, and lessons learned.
Training and Support: Provide training and support to users and stakeholders regarding data migration processes and tools.
Qualifications:
Bachelor s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Administration, or a related field; Master s preferred.
7+ years of experience in data migration, project management, and SAP implementations.
Strong knowledge of SAP modules (e.g., SAP S/4HANA, SAP ECC) and data migration tools. Proficiency in project management methodologies (Agile, Waterfall) and tools (e.g., Jira, MS Project).
Excellent analytical skills, with the ability to identify and resolve data issues effectively.
Strong communication skills, capable of engaging with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Experience with data governance and data quality management is a plus.
