Job Overview:

We are seeking an experienced Power Platform Developer to join our growing IT team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in building applications and automating business processes using the Microsoft Power Platform suite, including Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI, and Power Virtual Agents. As a Power Platform Developer, you will play a critical role in designing, developing, and deploying custom business solutions that drive operational efficiency and improve user experience across the organization.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and Development:
    Build and customize business applications, workflows, and dashboards using Microsoft Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI, and Power Virtual Agents based on business requirements.

  • Solution Architecture:
    Work with business stakeholders to analyze requirements and translate them into scalable, efficient, and maintainable solutions on the Power Platform.

  • Automation and Workflow Integration:
    Develop and deploy automated workflows and business processes using Power Automate to streamline operations and improve productivity.

  • Power BI Reporting:
    Design, develop, and maintain interactive dashboards and reports in Power BI to provide real-time business insights.

  • Customization and Extensions:
    Customize standard Power Platform components, build custom connectors, and integrate with external systems using Power Automate, Power Apps, and APIs.

  • Testing and Debugging:
    Ensure applications are thoroughly tested, debugged, and optimized for performance before deployment.

  • User Training and Support:
    Provide training, user documentation, and ongoing support for end-users of Power Platform solutions.

  • Collaboration:
    Work closely with cross-functional teams, including business analysts, project managers, and IT administrators, to ensure solutions meet business needs and compliance requirements.

  • Continuous Improvement:
    Stay up-to-date with new features and capabilities in the Power Platform ecosystem, and actively contribute to continuous process improvement.


Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Proven Experience:
    2+ years of hands-on experience in developing applications and workflows using Microsoft Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI, Power Virtual Agents).

  • Technical Expertise:
    Strong knowledge of Power Platform components, including Power Apps (Canvas and Model-Driven), Power Automate, Power BI, Power Virtual Agents, and D365 integration.

  • Programming Languages:
    Experience with Microsoft Dataverse, JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and PowerShell is a plus.

  • Business Analysis:
    Ability to gather and analyze business requirements, translate them into technical solutions, and communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

  • Database Knowledge:
    Understanding of relational databases, SQL, and data integration techniques.

  • Version Control & Source Code Management:
    Familiarity with Git, Azure DevOps, or similar version control systems.

  • Problem-Solving:
    Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills with a passion for problem-solving and innovation.

  • Collaboration and Communication:
    Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment.


Preferred Qualifications:

  • Certifications:
    Microsoft Certified: Power Platform Developer Associate or similar Power Platform-related certifications.
