Job Overview:
The SAP IBP will be responsible for designing, implementing, and optimizing SAP Integrated Business Planning (IBP) solutions to support comprehensive planning and supply chain management across the organization. This role involves working closely with business stakeholders and IT teams to ensure that SAP IBP systems are aligned with business objectives, improve planning processes, and integrate effectively with other enterprise systems. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience with SAP IBP functionalities, strong architectural skills, and a deep understanding of supply chain management.
Responsibilities:
- Design and architect SAP IBP solutions to meet business requirements for demand planning, supply planning, inventory optimization, and other integrated planning processes.
- Develop and maintain comprehensive architecture blueprints and integration designs for SAP IBP, ensuring alignment with enterprise architecture standards and business goals.
- Evaluate and recommend SAP IBP functionalities, best practices, and technology solutions to optimize planning and supply chain processes.
- Lead the implementation of SAP IBP solutions, including configuration, customization, and integration with other SAP modules (e.g., SAP S/4HANA, SAP ERP) and third-party systems.
- Continuously monitor and optimize SAP IBP processes and systems to enhance performance, accuracy, and user experience.
- Work closely with business stakeholders, including supply chain managers, planners, and executives, to gather requirements and understand planning needs.
- Provide technical guidance and expertise on SAP IBP functionalities, configurations, and best practices.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, Supply Chain Management, or a related field. Advanced degree is a plus.
- 15 years of experience as an SAP IBP Architect or in a similar role with a focus on SAP Integrated Business Planning.
- Strong knowledge of SAP IBP modules and functionalities, including Demand Planning, Supply Planning, Inventory Optimization, and Sales and Operations Planning (S&OP).
- Experience in Order Based Planning
- Integrations between IBP and SAP Hana
- Experience with SAP integration, particularly with SAP S/4HANA, SAP ERP, and other enterprise systems.
- Proficiency in SAP IBP configuration, customization, and implementation, including experience with relevant SAP tools and technologies.
- Solid understanding of supply chain management processes, planning methodologies, and best practices.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to address complex technical challenges.
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to convey technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Relevant SAP certifications (e.g., SAP Certified Application Associate - SAP IBP) are highly desirable.
